One of my newer online vices is watching Complex's Sneaker Shopping series w/ Joe La Puma. The series takes celebrities w/ novice to expert level sneaker knowledge and picks their brains on their love and experience w/ the shoe game and then turns them loose to shop in some of the nation's most well known sneaker boutiques. Their purchases are itemized and shown to the viewers giving insight on the retail/resale market as well as each guests taste. Not a bad way to spend 8 minutes. Another concept style interview piece from complex, this time featuring Joe Budden fielding questions on various topics while sampling wings w/ increasingly hotter sauces. My first time watching the series and asides from the "left-field" premise it's a pretty interesting and entertaining video. Budden shows a lot of personality while coming off relaxed and natural which is a cool abnormality in today's hip-hop media game.

Hogg Life Vol.4 "American King" the new release from Houston Underground Legend Slim Thug has what may be one of the year's best songs as its lead single. Check Out "Peaceful".
