So...WWE is reexamineing the idea of a brand extension & in doing so has decided to split the current active roster into two separate entities. It's a cool concept that allows for movement within the sports entertainment hiarache. To help generate buzz WWE has created a mock draft experience for users to draft their own versions of Raw & Smackdown rosters. Of course, I took a shot at it.... The app, available at wwe.com/draft generates 73 random order superstars & you select the brand/show they goto. I made it a point to send franchise players as well as an influx of youth to both brands. Each brand gets a secondary champion & a balance of female competitors (Eventhough the champion call Raw home-base), Raw is the new home of tag team wrestling even w/ the current champions "The New Day" calling Smackdown home. Brock Lesnar is exclusive to Smackdown making it must see tv when he appears, while raw will be carried by the new wave of stars that have made the "Reality Era" an entertaining spectacle. Like this draft? Would you have done anything different? Post your opinions in the comments section...
